LEARN2AI

[UX Research & Design] [Strategic Design]

Explore what a free, human-centred learning platform for AI upskilling could look like. Designed for people changing careers, closing skill gaps, or who simply can't afford paid courses. Accessibility and inclusion were built into the brief from the start, with a specific focus on underrepresented groups including women entering tech.

The Approach

Design Thinking

Literature Research

  • How people actually learn

  • Psychology of intrinsic and extrinsic motivation

  • Synchronous and Asynchronous learning

User Surveys & Qualitative Interviews

  • Previous participants of N3XTCODER's Hackatons

  • Questions crafted with help of experts (ex BAIN Sr. Associate, Gui Dal'Stella)

Competitor research

  • Scored platforms such as Elements of Ai, Coursera, Duolingo and more against research findings.

What we found

Learning Through Doing

Learners absorb concepts most effectively when they learn by teaching others and actively doing the work themselves.

Missing Practical Application

72% of surveyed learners feel that current AI courses heavily lack real-life, practical applications.

The Access Divide

Women, public sector professionals, and individuals without technical backgrounds are 40% less likely to gain access to AI upskilling programs.

Educator Credibility Drives Engagement

Instructors who demonstrate high levels of credibility can improve student engagement and participation by 22%.
